Our Players & Teachers

“TheatreSports™ people are such finely trained improvisational atheletes that no matter what you throw at them, they just bat it back.”

– Tom Gleisner, Thank God You’re Here

Our Performers and Teachers

Impro Australia is made up of a large group of performers and trainers. Our mainstage shows at the Enmore Theatre consists of performers ranging from veteran professionals to our new star recruits. Impro Australia’s training show at the Harold Park Hotel allows our recent graduates the opportunity to hone their skills and perform alongside more experienced ‘mentors’. Impro Australia also fosters new talent through its improvisation courses, and the TheatreSports™ Schools Challenge (TSC) which is held every year.

A strong, experienced team of professional performers and corporate educators lead IA’s Corporate Training business. Utilising the skills and knowledge gained over more than 30 years of improv/communication coaching and workshops, they have created a unique training style and program that is adaptable to the specific needs and objectives of any business.

IA has an alumnus of many famous faces, entertainers and presenters who have honed their skills on our stage playing TheatreSports™ during the course of their careers. Many of these now celebrities return to join us for our annual charity fundraising show called Celebrity TheatreSports™.
