This is our hugely popular ‘Intro To Impro’ Course. In Level 1, you’ll learn the fundamental skills and principles of improvisation, as seen on shows such as TheatreSportstm, Whose Line Is It Anyway? & Thank God You’re Here.
This is a fantastic course to: build confidence, improve your presentation and audition skills, learn basic theatrical concepts, listen to and connect with other people, as well as spark your imagination and expression in an entertaining and interactive atmosphere.
All levels of experience welcome – no previous improvisation or drama experience required.
In Level 2, you’ll take your improvisation skills to a higher level. You’ll strengthen and build on the skills learnt in Level 1 as well as gaining some performance skills. You’ll also be coached through a number of TheatreSportstm game structures.
Level 2 includes an improvised performance at the end of the course.
This course is recommended for those who have completed Level 1 and/or those with some previous acting/improvisation experience.
In Level 3, you’ll challenge yourself even further, in a course that focuses on ‘open’ improvisation. You’ll learn techniques necessary for open scene play and storytelling. You’ll create characters, relationships & narrative…without the safety net of game structures.specialised tutors work to extend your improvisation skills.
